Sellersville Volunteers and mutual aid companies were dispatched for the reported commercial structure fire at Waste Management in Hilltown Township. BC27 had arrived and was flagged down by an employee, who reported that there was a fire next door with the smoke visible. In April, your Sellersville Volunteers responded to a total of 46 calls for service, with West Rockhill Township being the busiest municipality we responded to within our first due. In our primary first due response area, 10 calls were in Sellersville Borough, 15 in West Rockhill, 5 in East Rockhill, 8 in Hilltown Township, and all others being mutual aid.
Sellersville Volunteers and Medic 151 were alerted to the 900 block of Diamond Street earlier this morning for a report of 3 vehicle accident in Hilltown Township. Rescue 27 arrived to initially confirm a 3 car (ultimately only 2, the 3rd was not involved) motor vehicle accident with 1 car having rolled, per a bystander. Shortly before 1400 hours, Sellersville Volunteers along with Tac 76 from the Perkasie Fire Company were dispatched for a reported brush fire in the 100 block of Catch Basin Road in West Rockhill Township. Assistant 27 arrived and had a 40' X 40' area of grass and firewood actively burning. Rescue 27 arrived to extinguish the fire and performed overhaul of the area along with Tac 76.
